How many people can I fit in the hot
tub?
It will allow for 6 people comfortably.
How much space do I need for a hot tub?
A 7 ft by 7 ft clear area is sufficient to install the hot tub.
How do we fill and empty it?
The tub can be filled from any water source. Usually a garden hose is used.
To drain the tub, we provide you with a submersible pump. Drain the water away
from the house or into a drain
How long does it take for the hot tub to
heat up?
The hot tub will heat approximately 1 to 2 degree F/hour. Please allow 24 -
36 hours for heating if the tub has been filled with cold water.
How much water does it take to fill the
hot tub?
Approximately 300 gallons of water.
How do I control the temperature in the
hot tub?
Push the Plus (+) Button up to turn up the temperature and the Minus (-)
button down to turn the temperature down. The max temperature setting is
approximately 104 degrees.
How Hot Can The Hot Tub Get?
The water in a spa or hot tub should never exceed 40°C (104°F). Water
temperatures between 38°C (100°F) and 40°C (104°F) are considered safe for a
healthy adult. Our tubs will reach a maximum of 104°F
Can I have the hot tub installed anywhere?
Almost! Our tubs fit through standard doorways, allowing us to install them
almost anywhere. However, all hot tubs must be installed on a structurally
sound, relatively smooth and level surface that is strong enough to support it
when filled (must be able to hold 100 LBS/Sq Ft). It MUST be installed on firm,
sharp object-free spaces. Outside on a
well built deck or concrete patio is best.
Do I need to have a shower before
getting in the hot tub?
Yes, we recommend that you do. This helps keep
the water clean and means you have a better and healthier hot tub experience.
What are the dimensions of the Hot Tubs?
33" tall and 75" in Diameter.
How much power does the hot tub use?
Our hot tubs run off of a standard 115V electrical outlet. It will use 15
amps of power. In English, it will draw the entire circuit. Plugging in any
other appliance on the same circuit may blow a breaker.
Will I notice an increase on my Hydro
Bill?
Running a tub for 5 days will not have
much affect on your hydro bill.
Can I drink alcohol in the hot tub?
WARNING!! The use of alcohol, drugs or medication before or during hot tub
use can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs
when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above
the normal body temperature of 98.6 DegF. The symptoms of hyperthermia include;
an increase in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy,
drowsiness, and fainting.
The effects of hyperthermia include:
- failure to
perceive heat
- failure to
recognize the need to exit hot tub
- unawareness
of impending hazard
- fetal damage
in pregnant women
- physical
inability to exit spa or hot tub
- Unconsciousness
resulting in the danger of drowning.
